SICG became involved in SharePoint technologies back in 1997 when “Team Sites” were a part of Project Central (now called Project Server). We worked
with the 2001 version on and off but it was the release of the 2003 product that sold us on the future of SharePoint. Implemented as project management
tool and progress tracking report center, SICG leveraged SharePoint Portal to manage the rollout of iDTV across 17 countries in Europe and South
America. SICG became a leader in implementations of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 helping companies like Booz Allen Hamilton deploy it worldwide.
SICG was one of the first in MOSS 2007 deployments. In fact, the book on 2007 by Mr. Sterling is considered one of the best overall in practical use.
